Editorial policy
Select Fitness Review aims to make fitness terms and choices understandable. We distinguish explanation from advice, avoid claims of guaranteed results and correct material when a credible error is brought to our attention.
Accuracy and clarity
Articles should use precise language, explain unfamiliar terms and make the limits of a general explanation clear. We check factual statements against suitable references during preparation and avoid unsupported performance, health or product claims. Where an answer depends on individual circumstances or specialist assessment, the article should not imply that a general reader can settle it from a checklist.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader clarity and relevance. A commercial relationship does not buy a favourable conclusion, a particular product mention or control of editorial coverage. We aim to make comparisons on consistent, plainly stated criteria.
Corrections
Readers can send a correction through the Contact page. Please identify the passage and explain the concern. We review credible reports, amend errors when warranted and make material changes clear in the article where appropriate.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner-supported content and placements are labelled so readers can recognise the relationship. Such arrangements do not change the editorial standards applied to claims. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where that is relevant to how an image should be understood, we identify it.
Know the purpose before the promise
Fitness choices make more sense when you know what an activity asks of you. We explain the format, the moving parts and the trade-offs without promising results.
