Select Fitness Review

Write for us

We welcome pitches that help readers understand recreational fitness without turning an explanation into a promise. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail to judge the subject, approach and reader value.

What fits

Strong subjects include the purpose of a movement, how exercise formats differ, what a piece of equipment is designed to do, or how a fitness term became familiar. We favour evergreen pieces a careful general reader can use safely without professional assessment, specialist equipment or local-rule checks.

What to include

In your proposal, state the working title, the central question, the main points you would cover and why the topic suits Select Fitness Review. Say whether the piece depends on product access, testing or a commercial relationship. Do not send a finished article unless it has been requested.

Our standards

We do not accept unsupported health or performance promises, disguised advertising, copied work or claims presented as personal expertise without a clear basis. A useful pitch has a distinct angle, defines its limits and tells readers what they can reasonably take away.

How to send a pitch

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then explain that your message is a pitch. Please include a way for the desk to reply in the form. A proposal is not a promise of publication.

Our approach

Know the purpose before the promise

Fitness choices make more sense when you know what an activity asks of you. We explain the format, the moving parts and the trade-offs without promising results.
